A recent walk in Klipriviersberg, south of Jhb...

Top of the hill were a few Springbok.

Dad was impressed with our Fruit and Vegetable shop; this is just half the fruit section; there's also the butchery, wines, breads, fish and shellfish, cakes, ... loads of stuff.

Then we went to the Rhino Park near Sterkfontein Caves.

Dad tried to jump over the hedge, but when he saw the stones...

...he decided on a different escape route.

Wildebeest.

Main attraction...

...the lions.

A young giraffe.

A white lion cub.

Leopard - a young one.

John teasing a croc... !!

Siberian tiger - the biggest cat in the world.

Hippo and Waterbuck.

This was fun. Surprisingly, the giraffe's lips felt like flowers touching our fingers, so very soft and gentle.

Feeding time.

Beers in the caves at Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem - the oldest inn in England, built in the foundation rocks of Nottingham Castle.  Don't know why Dad is so serious.

We had a nice exhibition of Andy Warhol  lithographs and silk-screens. many well-known ones: Marilyn Monroe, Soup cans, but I've not seen most of them before. All very polished works.
